// OVERVIEW

A Skill is a small, focused behavior, a way of responding, a tone, a constraint. Tutor Mode is a Skill. Concise is a Skill. Humanizer is a Skill. The interesting part is stacking: turn on three at once and Aluma doesn't sequence them, it blends them into a single coherent voice.

Three skills, one blended response. Not a pipeline, a weighted personality.

// KEY FEATURES
Composable

Skills don't fight each other. The planner negotiates conflicts before the response is written.

Toggleable

Tap a skill to turn it on or off during a conversation. The next reply respects the new stack.

Saveable

Pin a stack to a Class. Open the class, the stack comes with it.

Custom (Pro)

Write your own skill in plain English. Aluma compiles it into a behavior the planner can use.

// HOW IT FLOWS
STEP 01
Pick skills

From the chip rail at the top of the chat.

STEP 02
Stack

Add up to three. The active stack is shown at all times.

STEP 03
Talk

Every response respects every active skill simultaneously.

STEP 04
Adjust

Drop a skill the moment it stops helping. Add a new one.

// WHO USES IT
Studying
Tutor + Concise + Humanizer → step by step, short, sounds like you wrote it.
Coding
Engineer + Pedantic + Concise → terse code, exhaustive edge cases, no fluff.
Writing
Drafter + Humanizer + Editorial → first draft in your voice with publication-grade structure.
// QUESTIONS
Can I disable all skills?

Yes. With zero skills active, Aluma defaults to its standard reasoning behavior.

Do skills change the model?

No. Skills shape how the same model thinks and responds, they don't swap out the underlying reasoning engine.
