A contextual AI tutor for school.

Aluma connects a student's real classes to high quality AI tutoring, tracks what they actually understand, and preps every major exam. Built and shipped in public, with students.

Aluma began with a firsthand student problem. School tools held assignments in one place, study resources in another, and tutoring rarely understood the actual class. The result was a lot of time spent stitching context back together instead of learning.

Aluma is a contextual AI tutor for school. It syncs assignments from platforms like Google Classroom, Canvas, and Schoology, coaches students through the work step by step, tracks understanding on a mastery ledger, and prepares students for major exams including the SAT, ACT, ISEE, SSAT, HSPT, PSAT, and current AP courses.

Today Aluma is an early stage company focused on learning quickly from students, shipping responsibly, and building the trust and team needed to make contextual tutoring useful at scale. We ship frequently, learn from student feedback, and publish what changed on the release notes.
